As most of you know, on March 16th, 2020 I made the hard decision to shut down for the foreseeable future, given the global pandemic that we face. I made this decision to protect both my clients and staff. It was originally thought that we would be closed for a 2 week period and would then reevaluate.
Shortly after my voluntary closure of the shop, the provincial government announced that barber shops and hair salons do not qualify as an essential service and ordered that we remain shut indefinitely. As much as this hurts my business, I feel that it is the right decision to protect everyone.
I have received a lot of correspondence lately with questions about when we will be reopening. Rest assured that all my clientele will be notified forthwit as soon as we are open again and accepting clients. We are taking our direction from the government and have no idea how long this pandemic will continue.
We are all in this together. I am thankful for all the support we have received in this time and can promise that we will be stronger than ever after this is all over. Stay safe and cherish your time with loved ones.
